Farm2Food Foundation’s Collective Covid-19 Response from April to July 21

Farm2Food Foundation have partnered with more than 124 civil society organisations across India during the period of April to July 2021 to reach out to people during the strict lockdown. Aizwal, the capital of Mizoram was also going through total lockdown during this period. There was no way relief materials could be transported to remote districts like Lunglei. In such difficult times, 3 Naga Hills Regiment of Assam Rifles came forward to help. With their help relief materials were transported in their trucks to remote districts like Lunglei. This is one of the several partnerships the organisation have engaged in. There are many more instances of such collaborations where the volunteers went out of the box to reach out to the people in need and provided support during the difficult times.


During these difficult times, the organisation, in collaboration with AAabhaar Trusts, Azim Premji Philantrophy Foundation, Beiersdorf CSR Germany, Breath for India USA, Commutiny – The Youth Collective, Every Infant Matters, Goonj, Hospital Sisters Outreach Mission, ITC CSR, NRIDOC USA, Physician for India USA, Rugby India, Rio Tinto, The Shamdasani Foundation, Sammanay Foundation, Vartaleap, District Administrations, Assam Rifles & Several individuals reached out the most vulnerable section of the society in the states of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura. The organization also has reached out to Tea garden workers, Tribals, Refugees, Transgender who were facing difficulties during these unprecedented times.
Food packets and medical equipment were distributed in the targeted areas whereas the organisation also contributed in flood relief activities in different flood-hit areas of Assam.
