Founders
Founded by two friends, Gaurav Gogoi and Deep Jyoti Sonu Brahma. Deep has over two decades experience of working with young people, educators and entrepreneurs across India. At Farm2Food Foundation he is building an ecosystem to inspire young people towards agri entrepreneurship. He is engaged in a leadership capacity with several coalitions and collectives across the country with the focus to bring social entrepreneurs together for youth leadership and SDGs. For the past 12 years, he has been mentoring Social entrepreneurs and innovators from the Northeast of India. He is member of several state, regional, national and International collective. He is an Ashoka Fellow. He has done his Bachelors in Psychology from Delhi University and Masters in Education for TISS Mumbai.
Gaurav is deeply involved in the economic development of Assam and the Northeast. Mr. Gaurav Gogoi is currently serving as a Member of Parliament representing the Kaliabor constituency of Assam in the Lok Sabha. He is a member of the parliamentary standing committee on defence and violation of protocol norms.
Prior to joining politics, he worked in the development and non profit space for ten years. After graduating from Indraprastha University in engineering, he worked in a non profit organization which sought to impact social justice through youth citizenship action. After four years of working in rural India, he went to pursue masters in public administration from the New York University. During his stint in the U.S, he worked as a policy aide at the Permanent Mission of India to the U.N.

Kanika Sinha Kaul
Kanika has been designing and facilitating transformational journeys for young people for more than 12 years. She has worked with Pravah and ComMunity – The Youth Collective where she headed the Youth Intervention Initiative and the Changelooms Programme. As a mentor to young social entrepreneurs she has supported the conception, launch, and growth of diverse change initiatives. She is on the board of several non-profit organisations across India. She has a Master’s degree in Social Development from the University of Sussex, prior to which she volunteered in the relief camps of Ahmedabad in the aftermath of the 2002 communal riots in Gujarat. Working with young people on different issues of social justice, and the adventures of parenthood are her two greatest passions and joys. Kanika is currently Director- Outreach at CYC.
Gaurav Dasgupta
Gaurav is a lawyer currently practising at the Delhi and Gauhati High Court. His primary focus areas are taxation and commercial disputes. In the past, he has led Youth Forum on Foreign Policy, a initiative to promote substantive dialogue on foreign policy among India’s youth and has worked as Officer on Special Duty to Shri Gaurav Gogoi, Member of Parliament from Kaliabor, Assam. For a brief period, Gaurav worked as a research aide to a Judge of the Supreme Court of India. He holds BLS.LLB from the Government Law College, Mumbai.
Neha Naqvi
Neha cares deeply about issues connected with gender justice, conflict transformation, conservation, human rights and the arts for development. She has worked as a practitioner in the broad realm of social transformation from a rights based perspective for over a decade, having received her B.A. L.L.B from NALSAR University, India, and her Masters in Law from Columbia Law School, U.S.A.
Learning from and engaging with organisations such as IALANA, PNND, ICRC, UNHCR, Pravah, Bond Street Theater, the Human Rights Campaign, TARSHI, Welthungerhilfe and Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung – Neha has found that hope, imagination and empathy continue to flourishwhen working with young minds. She retains a soft corner for Alison Bechdel, ‘trust falls’, nature trails, puppies and has served as Board Member for Farm2Food Foundation since 2011.
Nidhi Gupta
Nidhi has been working on the fields of entrepreneurship education for more than a decade. She has been mentoring you social entrepreneurs across the country. She was part of the first design and development team of Farm-preneur project at Farm2Food Foundation. She completed her Master’s in Business management from XIMB with special focus on finance and HR. She started her career in corporates but her real passion was in development sector. She joined Dastkar and soon She co-founded Dhriiti – The courage within.
Swati Sahni
Samant Veer Kakkar
Before he joined KCSD in 2017, he worked at the UNDP Headquarters in New York. Samant was as an early member of the team that pioneered India’s Unique ID programme – Aadhaar, used as a platform for benefit transfers, service delivery and financial inclusion for more than a billion people. He remains keenly interested in the role technology plays in solving public policy challenges.
Shailey Hingorani
Shailey Hingorani is the Head of Advocacy, Research and Communications at AWARE, the Association of Women for Action and Research. Before joining AWARE, she worked on women’s rights and child rights in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the United States. She has worked with the Open Society Foundations, the FXB-Harvard Center for Health and Human Rights, the Indian Mission to the United Nations, Save the Children, and the Bloomberg Initiative. Shailey was a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University where she received a Master’s in Public Administration. She holds M.A. and M.Phil. degrees in political science from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and a B.A. in Journalism from Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi.

Basudev Doley
I have been associated with Farm2Food Foundation since 2013 October. Social work was always my area of interest and I used to work on small individual projects with community of my village prior to joining Farm2Food Foundation. I hail from a family which has been practicing agriculture for generations. I have always felt that quality education is the key to a better future. At Farm2Food Foundation I get opportunity to work in areas of my interest. I have learned a lot about community development. Farm2Food Foundation also gave me opportunity to visit different places in the country and learn different practices and ideas in the field of community development. I also interact with other organizations working in development sector and understand their work.
Farm2Food Foundation gives me ample learning and growth as a social worker.
Parag Mahanta
I got introduced to Farm2Food Foundation in 2013 July, when they organized an agriculture development programme in my village. I have been involved with farming and animal husbandry for many years. I associated with Farm2Food Foundation to learn more about organic farming practices. Later I joined the team and has been working on various projects. Farm2Food Foundation has given me opportunity to visit different places and attend various trainings, meetings and melas. I also handle the accounts of the organization. Farm2Food Foundation gives me opportunity to learn and grow as a development professional as well as an organic farmer.
Krishnali Hazarika
I completed my MA is Assamese from Dibrugarh University, Assam. I have been working at Farm2Food since 2018 as a field co-ordinator. I enjoy working with students and community members through the Farm-preneur programme. I have also learned a lot about farming, bio-compost preparation, compost generation, etc.
Sunil Saikia
I have completed B.A. from Dibrughar University and Diploma from ITI (DMC), Jorhat. I come from an agricultural background, and have been working with Farm2Food since 2016. Before that, I was working for inclusive education for 3 years. I love teaching and working with students. Working with Farm2Food has allowed me to do this, as well as improve my communication skills.
Annesha Goswami
I am a social work enthusiast, who loves to work for the betterment of the society as a whole. Prior to joining Farm 2 Food Foundation, I was working in Rajasthan Gramin Ajeevika Vikash Parishad. I have an experience of 1 year 3 months of working with women self-help groups and implementing government policies in the state of Rajasthan. I joined Farm 2 Food in the month of November, 2021 as an Associate Program Manager. I did my Masters of Social Work from Tata Institute Of Social Sciences, Guwahati. Farm 2 Food has given me the opportunity to work with the indigenous communities of Assam and also with the youth of the state through various skill and personality development programs.
Nasrin Hussain
I am an individual who have always dreamt of working with the youth for the upliftment of the society as a whole. Farm 2 Food Foundation has helped me to get exposure in this field in community as well as youth’s development of self- awareness and decision making capacity. My academic background of being a certified communicator has helped me in the field too. I am currently pursuing my second Master’s in English Lit. from Dibrugarh University’s Directorate of Distance learning. I joined Farm 2 Food in the month of October, 2021 as a Program co-ordinator in the narrative.
Partha Pratim Bordoloi
I am a Master’s degree holder in Social Work from Kaziranga University. I have been working with Farm 2 Food Foundation from the last 4 years as a Program Co-ordinator. I also worked as Program Executive Of SNEHPAD on “Micro Skillpreneurship Development Programme” in Bangalore. Farm 2 Food has been a constant platform for me for my growth in the development sector. I have been actively handling the projects with schools and communities of Assam.
Angelina Bordoloi
I am a dedicated, compassionate social worker committed to providing quality client-centered care and support to individuals and families facing challenges. With a Master’s degree in social work, I have extensive experience in assessing needs, developing plans of action, and advocating for client rights as well as working in both rural and urban sectors. I’m specialized in crisis intervention, community development, and conflict resolution. I am a strong
advocate for social justice and strive to create equitable outcomes for the underprivileged section of society.
Prior to working at Farm2Food, I was working as a counselor at North-East Zone Welfare Development Society in collaboration with the Assam State Aids Control Society (ASACS).
With keen experience in research, I have mended my research work related to entrepreneurship and livelihood and education such as “Problems Faced by the Women Entrepreneur in Jorhat District of Assam”, Livelihood Aspirations of the Mishing Youth, etc. Besides, I have also experience in counseling Covid-19 patients during the pandemic in Collaboration with Pratishruti Trust and Assam Police.
